howdy kiddies, it s a full on chicken reunion up here.All 5 are finally living in the same town and its time to go to work.We are past due. The studio sessions start late August.Until then it will be drunken practices in the basement. The coop is up and runnin and I invite everyone to come on over... Nashville is as Nashville does. The greens are dark brown.... and not very green, and the people are still screamin for their thumbs. So we are here to help.To everyone back home,luv & miss ya. Come on out to Orpheum this Thursday 4/20,,,, Sadly(not really) its my last performance with The Devil Swamp Militia,,,and the debut show of the new band HEEL,,,definately come early to see these guys, their bass player is frickin hot!!!! O yea and those Elysium morons are playin too.

Alright everyone, we took a vote and decided that it was time to come out of the rumor mill. River Chicken is officially moving headqurters to Nashville, Tn. as of October 15, 2005. We can't begin to express our gratitude and appreciation for all of the people we've come to know and love (and hate) here in Tampa. Not only will we remember all of you that have made our stay here an incredible experience, but we will return frequently to allow you to pummell us once again.
With that said, We'd like to invite everyone out to the Masquerade Infinity Room on October 1st for "A Farewell To Cocks Show". Our final evening in Tampa will include performances by Knowing Stu, On The Fly, Elysium, Area 51, Sorne, and of course, River Chicken. As usual this is a free show; however, feel free to donate a few bucks for the trip up.

Thanks to everybody who participated in our first internet radio battle of the bands! We had votes pouring in from East Lansing, Mi. to Montpellier, FRANCE. You all kicked ass! Especially you AJS, and that fiery lil red head from MSU! We love you ladies!
But on a serious note, we're off to Chattanooga, TN. to jam with our boys from 17th Sun. Hope all of you noogans are ready! We're going to try something different for you guys too! And don't think we won't be documenting this trip, so check out the pics page in the near future.

OK, so if you checked out the recent TBT, you'd see that they just released Their "Our Big gay issue" issue. So naturally you'd have to say to yourself , "I'd bet a buck that there's a River Chicken interview in that issue". And, you'd be absolutely correct. So check it out and don't be afraid of anyone watching you! Be Proud!
In other news, Sara's birthday party is this Saturday at the Mug! So git yer asses down there and pahty with us. She'll be interviewing potential parents as well that evening. If you didn't know, Gia had puppies. But don't think she's gonna give her kids away to just any old deadbeats. Only serious inquiries need apply!
Finally, We are confirmed to return to the Local, in Chattanooga on July 23rd! We'll be there with the 17th Sun boys, props to Frank. You kick ass! Another Tennessee trip! Does anyone see a pattern! Peace! ACO

Whoa Man! Whooooooa Man! Another Tenn trip comes to a conclusion! No arrests! and No Tippacanoes! Just a good ol hammered time. We even brought a gravedigger along just in case of a tragedy but no such luck.
You Nashville kids are the shiznitty. I don't think you'll ever understand the magnitude of the memory you've given us. And of course there's Pants? You guys Rock and we'll be seein ya really soon down this here way!
Chattanooga was almost a disaster. If it wasn't for SPROUT! hooking us up with DOI we mighta been playin to an empty room. Sprout, you're undoubtedly the single coolest mutha fucka we've had the priveledge to hang out with! Thanks for saving our chicken necks man!
